Oil leak in the Red Sea (have you heard about this)

For the past five days there has been oil leaking into the Red Sea off Egypt. "The responsible businesses have warned anybody," says Amr Ali of the Hurghada Environmental Protection & Conservation Agency. "It is catastrophic," At the moment the oil slick has a length of twenty kilometers.
In recent days large quantities of oil reached the coast of Hurghada, an Egyptian resort where every year millions of tourists go diving and snorkeling.
The oil comes from an oil platform north of Hurghada. "We will take measures to ensure that this does not happen again," says Ali. "The responsible companies are to pay for the damage, but we are especially concerned about our environment."
The Egyptian government claims that the oil spill is under control. At present, measures have been taken to to counter the pollution in the Red Sea . Approximately 2,000 people try to clean up the oil.
Egypt does not mention which companies are responsible for the oil pollution. businesses are trying to avoid losing face?
