Actor Randy Quaid and his wife, Evi, wait for a taxi outside their lawyer's office in Vancouver in October.

It's another missed court date, another arrest warrant for actor Randy Quaid's wife, Evi.

The 47-year-old failed to appear for a probation hearing Thursday in Santa Barbara, Calif., and faces a new $100,000 arrest warrant, Deputy District Attorney Anthony Davis said.

At the hearing, Evi Quaid's attorney, Robert Sanger, withdrew from the case. He declined comment Friday in an email.

Randy and Evi Quaid are wanted in the coastal city for a felony vandalism case in which they're accused of causing more than $5,000 damage to the guest house of a home they once owned.

Neither has shown up for any court hearings since a criminal case was filed in October and have already forfeited $1 million in bail.

They remain in British Columbia, where they are seeking asylum from a group they have dubbed the "Hollywood star-whackers."

Randy Quaid faces immigration hearings to determine whether he should be allowed to remain in Canada and whether he should be granted refugee status. His next hearing is scheduled for Dec. 22.

Evi Quaid, who is on probation for a misdemeanor over defrauding an innkeeper in Santa Barbara, has indicated she doesn't want to leave her husband to deal with the California case.

It was determined at an earlier hearing that she can stay in Canada virtually indefinitely, as her father was a Canadian citizen.

Randy Quaid is the older brother of actor Dennis Quaid. He is best known for his roles in films such as National Lampoon's Vacation and Independence Day. He won a Golden Globe award — which he took to one of his court appearances in the innkeeper case — for his depiction of U.S. President Lyndon Johnson in a TV movie in the late 1980s.

Randy Quaid ~ denied asylum in Canada ~ Talks murders of Heath Ledger, Chriss Penn, David Carradine

More on Randy Quaid:

Reports surfaced Sunday proclaiming Canada has denied Randy Quaid's request for asylum from the “US.”

It may be that he has yet to realize there really is no where to run, or was simply using the opportunity to go public in hopes of reducing his chances of being targeted, but either way Canada has initially refused Randy Quaid's request for asylum.

The media and its sea of drone-like teleprompter-puppets will tell you the popular Hollywood movie star went crazy and what he's truly requesting asylum from is justice from US law. They're more than happy to refer back to multiple instances they claim were examples of he and his wife's apparent mental instability surfacing during an alleged minor crime spree.

The talking points given to the media were, he and his wife temporarily lost their capacity for rational thought and allegedly stiffed a hotel for thousands of dollars in 2009, before ransacking a property, ironically owned at the time by the couple themselves, a few months later and eventually fleeing to Canada to escape prosecution.
