Edmonton has recorded its second homicide of the year and a number of injuries after a party in the city's North End turned violent Sunday morning, police say.

The incident occurred about 2 a.m. MT as a fight broke out at a party being held by young people in a community hall on 87th Street and 130 A Avenue.

One 18-year-old man was stabbed and fled from the hall.

His body was found later on the lawn of a nearby home.

Police say three others were sent to hospital. One was treated and released, while the other two are in serious condition.

Homicide officers are now investigating and said no arrests had been made.
