Marie-Line Huneault-Bisson and her 18-month-old Amy Huneault-Pinel left their Beauharnois, Que. home last week.

A Beauharnois, Que. woman and her daughter who have been missing since Thursday have been found, police say.

Marie-Line Huneault-Bisson, 25, and her 18-month-old Amy Huneault-Pinel were located in a residence in the city's St-Michel district, Montreal police said Tuesday evening.

They would not say how the two were located but said they were in good health.

Huneault-Bisson left her Beauharnois home on foot with her daughter following an argument with Michael Pinel, Amy's father.

Police believed the pair might be in Montreal after two reported sightings Sunday night. One man said he was able to match the woman with photos of Huneault-Bisson.

"We received information that somebody saw her and her daughter in the evening Sunday," Chateauguay police spokeswoman Nadine Grondin said early Tuesday. "They saw her in the Point Saint-Charles (area) and around Hutchinson Street."

At that point, police said, nothing indicated they were dealing with an abduction, and they said Pinel was not suspected of a crime.

Police said they had been to Pinel and Huneault-Bisson's home on three or four occasions in the past after arguments.
