Calls to destroy the great pyramids of egypt begin

This makes me really upset, what do you guys think?

According to several reports in the Arabic media, prominent Muslim clerics have begun to call for the demolition of Egypt’s Great Pyramids—or, in the words of Saudi Sheikh Ali bin Said al-Rabi‘i, those “symbols of paganism,” which Egypt’s Salafi party has long planned to cover with wax. Most recently, Bahrain’s “Sheikh of Sunni Sheikhs” and President of National Unity, Abd al-Latif al-Mahmoud, called on Egypt’s new president, Muhammad Morsi, to “destroy the Pyramids and accomplish what the Sahabi Amr bin al-As could not.”

This is a reference to the Muslim Prophet Muhammad’s companion, Amr bin al-As and his Arabian tribesmen, who invaded and conquered Egypt circa 641. Under al-As and subsequent Muslim rule, many Egyptian antiquities were destroyed as relics of infidelity. While most Western academics argue otherwise, according to early Muslim writers, the great Library of Alexandria itself—deemed a repository of pagan knowledge contradicting the Koran—was destroyed under bin al-As’s reign and in compliance with Caliph Omar’s command.

However, while book-burning was an easy activity in the 7[SUP]th[/SUP] century, destroying the mountain-like pyramids and their guardian Sphinx was not—even if Egypt’s Medieval Mamluk rulers “de-nosed” the latter during target practice (though popular legend still attributes it to a Westerner, Napoleon).

Now, however, as Bahrain’s “Sheikh of Sheikhs” observes, and thanks to modern technology, the pyramids can be destroyed. The only question left is whether the Muslim Brotherhood president of Egypt is “pious” enough—if he is willing to complete the Islamization process that started under the hands of Egypt’s first Islamic conqueror.

Wow....

Pity for ignorant people that will trash/destroy human history. Many are stuck in a mindset where they think- they know all that they really need to know and all else is smoke. Compassion for all who suffer through life not striving for truth.

I can say only 1 thing about this truly- work on yourself, develop your wisdom and compassion. Then have it manifest in the thoughts, speech and action of your life. This is the only practice.

My only real response to this is...like all things, they are just "things". There is more already long destroyed that we don't even know about to let this sort of matter bother (me) at all. It's my feeling that there is simply so much wrong with our civilization now that destroying the whole thing from the bottom up wouldn't be a bad idea at all. One civilization can only take so much before it falls in on itself. We're just about there now. Won't be long anymore.

One got to know the "source" to know real agenda behind the "Holy Revelation". The "Front Page Magazine" is owned by America's top Muslim and Arab hater, Zionist Jew David Horowitz. He was voted as the head of "Dirty Dozen Islamophobes" by FAIR magazine in 2008. Below is FAIR citing for the AWARD:

"David Horowitz is the Islamophobia movement’s premier promoter. Through his “Islamofascism Awareness Week” (see FAIR's "Islamofascism" Case Study), which brought leading Muslim-bashers to more than a hundred college campuses in October 2007, and via his website, FrontPage Magazine, which features the movement’s leading writers and links to other anti-Muslim sites, Horowitz has made himself the chief publicist of the Islamophobic movement. (Anti-Muslim and anti-Arab writings at Horowitz’s FrontPage Magazine have been exposed for inaccuracy by, among other outlets, the New Yorker magazine--4/14/08.)

But more than a promoter, Horowitz is also a key participant. He appears in his own venues as well as in other right-wing arenas, such as the Washington Times, the Weekly Standard and Fox News Channel.

In one Fox appearance (5/9/08), he linked Muslim student associations on college campuses across the U.S. to the “terrorist Jihad against the West”:


The point here is that there are 150 Muslim students’ associations, which are coddled by university administrations and treated as though they were ethnic or religious groups, when they are political groups that are arms of the Muslim Brotherhood, which is the fountainhead of the terrorist jihad against the West.


No doubt the students are part of the “between 150 million and 750 million Muslims” Horowitz claims “support a holy war against Christians, Jews and other Muslims” (Columbia Spectator, 10/15/07).

During a speech at the University of California at Santa Barbara, Horowitz accused students wearing green in support of the schools’ Muslim Student Association of supporting Hamas, and students wearing Arab Keffiyehs of honoring Yassir Arafat and terrorism (Santa Barbara Independent, 5/15/08)."

The Dirty Dozen

I think there's information in those pyramids that they don't want everyone to find out about. It has to be something major enough to cause massive changes in the way people think and maybe even to the way they believe. This is huge, those pyramids and everything in them need to be examined and that examination and all the findings NEED to be released to the public. WTF are they hiding?
