Solar activity continued at moderate levels on Wednesday with multiple C-Class and lower level M-Class flares. Both Sunspots 1158 and 1161 pose a threat for M-Class flares. Sunspot 1158 retains a BETA-Gamma Magnetic classification and has enough energy for X-Class flares. Continue to monitor activity for further flare events. An aurora watch is in effect over the next 24-48 hours due to the possibility of multiple incoming Coronal Mass Ejections. Should any of these sweep past earth, it could stir up minor to major geomagnetic storming at high latitudes.
