The short answer is yes.
Long answer:
Sodium Fluoride is the biggest enemy as it is a byproduct of industry. Calcium Fluoride is found in nature, usually in the soil and lake and rivers, it's also found in fruits and vegetables naturally and can't easily be avoided.
Iodine has been clinically proven to increase the removal of fluoride from the body via the urine. Adding the fluoride to potassium iodide possibly prevents this.
Fluoride is bad in any form and is a harmful neurotoxin. You can get potassium iodide without the fluoride.
