Mundus Subterraneus

I have an original, unedited copy (900 pages) of Mundus Subterraneus written by Athanasius Kircher.

Is anyone here proficient in any latin other than medical latin?

I don't know if any of the other members here know Latin, but I sure wish I did! I would LOVE to be able to read that! How did you get a hold of that book?

Kircher was a relative of mine and my family has a lot of his things.

I had got to thinking, I seem to recall my dad reading some books written in Latin on and off over the years. I don't know how that would help, but I'm pretty sure he can still read and understand the language.
