Johnson, MD, chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Michigan and an OBOS advisory board member, have penned an op-ed in today’s Boston Globe on the high cost of medically unnecessary caesarean sections, both in terms of a mother’s health and rising medical costs:
