THE MoD department that has investigated the UFO threat over Britain for 50 years has secretly been axed, The Sun can reveal.
A hotline to report sightings to the X Files-style bureau has also had its plug pulled - and NO more will be followed up.
Last night UFO experts were horrified. Nick Pope, who worked with the MoD for 21 years investigating the phenomenon, stormed: "This is outrageous.
"UFO sightings are at an all time high. There has been no announcement in Parliament and no public consultation."...
