Helen Thomas, who fought for justice and honest reporting at the White House for more than 50 years, died yesterday at 92. As a journalist, she covered ten US presidents and earned the nickname of “Dean of the White House Press Corps”. Helen will be remembered for her great passion for the liberation of Palestinian and Arab lands. May her soul rest in peace forever.

In a staement, Barack Obama called Thomas a “true pioneer”, adding “she covered every White House since President JF Kennedy’s and during that time she never failed to keep presidents – myself included, on their toes“.

The Jewish lobby never liked Helen Thomas due to her support for the Palestinian and Lebanese military resistance against Israeli colonists. Finally, on May 27, 2010, she was trapped into by Rabbi David Nesenoff, who asked her what she would advise to Israelis? To that Helen replied: “Tell them to get the hell out of Palestine. Remember these people are occupied and it’s their land. ” Rabbi, then asked her where the Israelis go, to which she replied: “They should go home to Poland, Germany… America and everywhere else”.

Ari Fleischer, President George W. Bush’s Jewish press secretary sent an e-mail to pro-Israel Huffington Post saying Thomas’ comments amount to “religious cleansing.” “She should lose her job over this,” Fleischer wrote. “As someone who is Jewish, and as someone who worked with her and used to like her, I find this appalling.”

Lanny Davis (Jewish), former special counsel to and White House spokesman for President Bill Clinton, issued a statement saying, Thomas, “has showed herself to be an anti-Semitic bigot.”

Ralph Nader called for her reinstatement after she was forced to retire from Hearst after comments she made about the Zionist entity.

Helen told Paul Jay (The Real News Network) that “expecting Israelis to go back to pre-1967 borders is a dream as Jews are not going to do that. They keep taking and buldozing more Arab lands.”

During an interview Helen gave to Jewish-owned PLAYBOY magazine in March 2011, she said: “You cannot say anything about Israel in this country (the US). But I’ve lived with this cause for many years. Everybody knows my feelings that the Palestinians have been shortchanged in every way. Sure, the Israelis have a right to exist – but where they were born, not to come and take someone else’s home. I’ve had it up to here with the violations against the Palestinians. Why shouldn’t I say it?”

On February 16, 2011 – Helen thomas was interviewed on CNN’s Joy Behar Show. She told Behar that once World War II ended, the Jews “didn’t have to go anywhere really, because they weren’t being persecuted anymore. But they were taking other people’s land.”

The Zionist-occupied White House Correspondents’ Association (WHCA) did not let its first woman president Helen Thomas (1975-76) purchase a table, at its gala dinner on April 28, 2012 to celebrate her 50th anniversary as White House reporter. The keyspeaker at the dinner was Barack Obama. The event was attended by over 2,000 pro-Israel politicians, correspondents and Hollywood celebrities such as Jewish lobby’s anti-Sudan propagandist George Clooney and Holocaust propagandist Steven Spielberg .

The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) honored Helen Thomas at a Nov. 18, 2010 gala dinner at the Washington, DC Marriott Wardman Park Hotel. The event celebrated Ms. Thomas’ long and outstanding career in journalism as well as her breaking numerous barriers in her field.
