Dracula fish discovered in Myanmar

There is a new species discovered in northern Myanmar, danionella Dracula, so called because he has strange long front.



The fish is only 17 mm long and belongs to the group of Cypriniform cyprinid. The fish has already been found, in 2007, but only now officially described.

Zoologist from the Natural History Museum in London, Ralf Britz, describes the transparent animal as' extraordinary '.

"The teeth of the Danionella Dracula are surprising because no other species in the group Cypriniform teeth in the jaws. Actually they were fifty million years ago already lost
