Jewish groups led by the American Jewish Congress (AJC) has demanded that popular German daily Stuttgarter Zeitung apologize to Jewish people for publishing a cartoon which implies that Netanyahu is ready to kill the latest Israel-Palestinian peace talks initiated by John Kerry.
The caricature (top left) shows Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu sitting on a park bench, pouring poison from a bottle labeled “settlement construction” over a piece of bread which apparently he intends to feed to a (Mahmoud Abbas) Palestinian peace dove. The cartoon captions reference a song by the Jewish Austrian-American Georg Kreisler (died 2011), called “Pigeon Poisoner”.
“Defaming the memory of a Holocaust survivor to attack Israel is a new low in Israel-bashing,” said Deidre Berger, Director of AJC Berlin. According to AJC, Georg Kreisler’s daughter, Sandra Kreisler, claims that her father supported Israeli policies.
Interestingly, Georg Kreisler, nor his parents ever spent a day in Nazi labor camp. He fled Austria with his parents in 1938. But in Zionists’ book every European Jew alive – is Holocaust survivor.
The Jews for Justice for Palestinians has published three articles, written by Israeli and American Jewish writers claiming that AIPAC, the front for American group of Jewish organizations which look after Zionist regimes’ interests in US foreign policy – doesn’t support Washington’s efforts to negotiate peace between Israeli Jews and Palestinian Muslims and Christians – while pushing Washington to wage a new war against Islamic Republic of Iran.
Early this year, British Jewish lobby groups chased daily The Sunday Times for publishing Gerald Scarfe’ cartoon which depicted Israeli prime minister Netanyahu “a blood thirsty Jew”.
Last year, German philosopher-poet Guenter Wilhelm Gross was chased by the Jewish lobby groups for writing a poem, entitled ‘What Must Be Said, in which he claimed that it’s Israel and NOT Iran, which poses the greatest threat to world piece.
On June 17 2011, Ha’aretz editorial quoted Netanyahu saying: “This is an insoluble conflict because it’s not about territory. It’s not that you can give up a kilimeter more and solve it. The root of the conflict is in entirely different place. Until Abu Mazin (Mahmoud Abbas, ruler of the West Bank) recognizes Israel as a Jewish state, there will be no way to reach an agreement.”
Ha’aretz editorial on August 11, 2013, reads: “The government will do anything it can to sabotage the talks with the Palestinians. There is no other way to interpret the Civil Administration’s endorsement of plans to build 878 new housing units in secluded West Bank settlements. The government will also forge ahead with creating facts on the ground, just in case the talks get under way. The addition of 91 settlements to Israel’s national priority areas attests to this.”
“The crime against the Palestinian people is being committed by a Jewish state with Jewish soldiers using weapons displaying Jewish religious symbols, and with the full support and complicity of the overwhelming mass of organised Jews worldwide. But to name Jews as responsible for this crime seems impossible to do,” said British Jewish journalist and blogger, Paul Eisen, entitled, Jewish Power, published by The Righteous Jews Org. on August 19, 2004.
A study by Richard H. Curtiss revealed that Germany is the second largest military donor to the Jewish army after the United States. For every dollar America spends on an African, it spends $250.65 on an Israeli, and for every dollar US spends on someone from the Western Hemisphere outside the United States, it spends $214 on an Israeli.
The total annual US and German assistance combined amounts to almost $20,000 per Israeli.
I wonder if German Chancellor Angela Markel knows what Elie Wiesel, the Nobel Prize winner and “Chief Witness” to the Holocaust advised to his fellow Jews? “Every Jew, somewhere in his being, should set apart a zone of hate - healthy virile hate – for what the German personifies and for what persists in the German,” said Wiesel.
