Astronomers have a 2-3 km wide asteroid discovered in a most remarkable orbit.
This asteroid is in "wrong" direction around the sun, or in opposite direction than the planets and most of the objects in the solar system. Now this is more common (there are a total of 20 of this kind of "retrograde" asteroids known), but what makes this particular asteroid is the fact that this extremely close to the earth can be! This means that the asteroid actually discovered much earlier had to be.
