well, of course haven't heard, I've been peaking in off and on about Assumption Parrish. They have never admitted to the sinkhole situation to my knowledge to begin with. I have incase you haven't noticed, a tendancy to be something of a newshound. Anybody else heard anything about the sinkhole other then on alternative web-sites?

Isaac 50 miles from sinkhole, trees down, people stranded on rooftops - National Human Rights | Examiner.com

Nearly stationary Hurricane Isaac has already caused residents to begin saving people stranded on rooftops and in attics in 12 to 14 feet of water as levees fail and the storm slowly lashes toward Assumption Parish, only fifty-three miles southeast of Houma, Louisiana, less than 100 miles south of Bayou Corne's sinkhole where a hurricane warning is in effect Wednesday and at 8:00 a.m. and officials report trees and power lines falling and winds to intensify.

Ya, I noticed you were into the news stuff, which I think is great!

I hadn't heard anything about this until now, reading THIS, lol.

It really makes you wonder though, don't it?

Sure does though thankfull it didn't pan out.

Though they are still having problems with that system. At least its providing much needed relief for the drought.

Luckily, their plans with controlling this kind of stuff doesn't usually pan out. :) they can only do so much before they have to shut their equipment off and rest it for the next run.

Sure must infuriate them. Although I was half listening seems to be another sinkhole where a driver just got out o.k.
