Anderson Cooper was attacked while covering the protests in Egypt.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Cooper was punched in the head 10 times as a pro-Mubarak mob surrounded the CNN reporter and his film crew.

Cooper and his crew escaped to a nearby roof and nobody was seriously injured.

• NBC has added pilots from Lorne Michaels and Tad Quill to its already full slate. 'Parks and Recreation' producer Emily Spivey will executive produce the comedy, about a working mom, with Michaels.
