I just heard that, after a long illness, Dennis Ritchie (dmr) died at home this weekend. I have no more information.

I trust there are people here who will appreciate the reach of his contributions and mourn his passing appropriately.

He was a quiet and mostly private man, but he was also my friend, colleague, and collaborator, and the world has lost a truly great mind.

Dennis Ritchie Died last weekend, a death far more important than Steve Jobs', in fact Jobs' products are mostly built upon his inventions. Worst thing is that this won't even hit the mainstream media or if it does it wont make the big news like Jobs

I find this unbelievably odd, two famous successful silicone valley gurus in the the computer field passing away this close to one another...

First Steve jobs and now Dennis Ritchie....

Both had long-time illnesses too. What's up with that? Fishy, fishy, fishy!!!!!!
The big question is, who's next? Gates is their bitch, so it's not likely to be him, unless of course he knows so much that they NEED to dispose of him for whatever alterior motives they may have. Who knows. All i'm saying is, it's extremely odd, and deaths like this are ALWAYS related, and this seems to be the case for sure here. No coincidence, just synchronicity as David Wilcock says.

How do we know he's not a "robot" or even a clone, now? He's obviously under FULL control and listens and does EVERYTHING he's programmed 'er told 'er asked to do. Just another example of an MK-Ultra subject, guaranteed.

They'll get rid of him when the need to tie up their loose ends.

Putting evidence together, it does seem like something may be going on, but we don't know that for sure. It may just be coincidental. The guy was sick for a long time.
