UNICEF, the United Nations watchdog for children rights, in its report, released on Thursday, has accused Israel Occupation Forces (IOF) of torturing Palestinian children (aged 9-17 year) and using them as human shields.
The detained children regularly faced “physical and verbal violence, humiliation, painful restraints, threatened with death, physical violence, and sexual assault against themselves or members of their family,” according to the report.
“These crimes are perpetrated from the time of arrest, during transfer and interrogation, to obtain a confession but also on an arbitrary basis as testified by several Israeli soldiers as well as during pre-trial detention,” the report said.
The report also documented 14 cases where Palestinian children were used as human shields between January 2010 and March 2013.
“Israeli soldiers have used Palestinian children to enter potentially dangerous buildings ahead of them and to stand in front of military vehicles in order to stop the throwing of stones against those vehicles,” the report said.
On June 20, Israeli Jewish author, Phyllis Chesler, called UNICEF report “a blood libel against Israel”, in an article published in the Times Of Israel.
“In the more than fifty UNICEF reports on the “state of Palestine,” it blames Israel for whatever harm comes to Palestinian children. And, when UNICEF does look at the horrifying war raging in Syria, these reports do not register psychologically with a global community eager to believe that Israel is the worst country in the world,” she claimed.
In January 2011, Israel-Firster, Sarah Palin, was chased by ADL and other Jewish lobby groups for invoking Jewish Blood Libel in her speech about Arizona shooting, a false flag operation.
In March 2013, Zionist websites ran a smear campaign against MIFTAH, an Arab-Israeli NGO, for publishing an article by Palestinian-Christian pro-USrael political activist, Dr. Hanan Ashrawi. In the article, Ashrawi mentioned Europe’s Blood Libel against the Jews in the past.
Interestingly, Israeli historian, Professor Ariel Toaff, son of Rome’s Chief Rabbi, in his book, ‘Blood Passover‘ confirms that some Jewish communities in Europe, in the past, used to sacrify Christian children as part of Jewish rituals.
Another Israeli author, Dr. Uri Milstein, in his book, Blood Libel: The True Story Of The Massacre At Deir Yassin, says that members of Jewish terrorist militia, Irgun, massacre of villagers at Deir Yassin reminded him the Christians’ Blood Libel against the Jews.
Russian-Israeli Jewish writer, Israel Shamir, has written a lengthy article, entitled, ‘BLOODCURDLING LIBEL’, saying: “Blood Libel is the Jewish battle cry, on a par with the Montjoie St. Dennis of the French chaveliers and St. George for merry England, of the English knights“.
