According to the TV.com website, the next episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit will be about illegal immigration and a talk show host. From the site:
It will be interesting to see what talk show host the episode will model its arch villain after.
In an article on the ADL’s website earlier this year, Alex Jones was listed as the primary culprit of “rightwing” radio “paranoia.”
The Microsoft and NBC collaboration, MSNBC, is notorious for fomenting “leftwing conspiracy theories” (for lack of a better term) about the danger of “rightwing extremists” as characterized by the Department of Homeland Security. DHS boss Napolitano extended effusive kudos to the Anti-Defamation League at its national leadership conference in April and admitted the agency works closely with the organization.
Americans for Legal Immigration issued a national advisory to all local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies and officers, along with all DHS Fusion Centers, warning against any reliance upon faulty and politicized research issued by the Southern Poverty Law Center and Anti- Defamation League in April.
MSNBC has offered its pulpit up on numerous occasions to the SPLC to push paranoid conspiracy theories about advocates of the Second Amendment, constitutionalists, and the patriot movement as a whole. Stewart Rhodes’ Oath Keepers were a recent target on both MSNBC and CNN.

The episode airs on December 9.

Further out into the extremist fringe, one person in particular has been responsible for stirring up anti-government and anti-Obama conspiracy theories in the United States. Alex Jones, a Texas-based radio show host, has created a radio- and Internet-based conspiracy-oriented media empire, most of the content of which is devoted to promoting the notion of an over-arching conspiracy by malevolent globalists to take over the world and create a “New World Order” with high-tech slavery. Jones claims that the United States government itself is part of this conspiracy, building concentration camps and preparing to implement tyrannical measures such as martial law and gun confiscation. Jones has been effective in promoting his conspiracy theories and has even appeared on some mainstream media shows.
ADL does not mention Jones in relation to illegal immigration. However, it will be interesting to see if the NBC created series rolls the ADL stereotypes into the show. It will also be interesting to see if the “radio talk show host who fans the hatred” is subjected to the criminal justice system.
