Police say alcohol was a factor in a northern Alberta crash that left one person dead early Saturday morning.
Fairview RCMP were called to a single-car accident on Highway 65, west of Hines Creek, just before 1 a.m. MT.
Officers found a Chevrolet truck rolled into the highway's south ditch.
A 52-year-old passenger, a man from Hines Creek, Alta., was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.
Two other passengers, both from Hines Creek, were taken to hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The driver, a 45-year-old Hines Creek resident, was arrested at the scene.
Charges have not been laid.
