CIA report leaked from: U.S. manipulate public opinion on Afghanistan
A leaked CIA report that the U.S. is scared to grip on the fragile support for Europe's contribution in Afghanistan to come at a loss. They look for strategic ways for European governments and citizens to influence and close an important role to Afghan women and the outrage of President Obama on allies who do not participate.
The CIA noted in its internal memo that countries like France and Germany, their contribution to the war could increase by using an "apathy" among the people. They literally say that "public apathy enabled leaders to ignore voters ."
The fall of the Dutch cabinet is monitored by the CIA: "The fall of the Dutch government about the presence of troops in Afghanistan shows how fragile European support for the NATO-led ISAF mission." The CIA is afraid that the 'Dutch style debates "will spread to other European countries, now they see how Sarkozy and Merkel are under pressure.
The CIA memo provides that the indifference and apathy of citizens can relate to in a hostile attitude to the ISAF mission, "as fighting in the spring and summer, more casualties among civilians and soldiers." Obama plays an important role in its prevention: "The confidence of the French and German people in President Obama's ability for foreign affairs in general and in Afghanistan to deal seems to show that they are receptive to Obama's acknowledgment of the importance the ISAF mission - and vulnerable to disappointment on allies that do not help. "
The role of Obama puts the boundless confidence of Europeans in the American president in a different light. We were very skeptical about Bush, the faith of Obama has caused a war that we have easily been able to talk about.
Furthermore, the CIA also closed Afghan women in face of a significant role as the human side of the ISAF in its fight against Taliban: 'Women can a personal and credible way to describe their experiences under the Taliban, their aspirations for the future and their fears of a victory of the Taliban. Afghan women who share their stories in the media with French, German and other European women can help to overcome widespread skepticism. "
