LAKE BUENA VISTA --
A Walt Disney World bus filled with passengers hit and killed a guest Sunday.
Investigators with the Florida Highway Patrol said the bus hit Robert Krueger around 5:50 p.m. in the parking lot of Disney's Port Orleans Resort.
Troopers said Krueger, 69, was not walking in a crosswalk when he stepped in front of the bus, and the driver did not have time to stop.
Krueger, who was visiting from Yarmouthport, Mass., was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center, where he later died.
The driver, Rosemary Kincaid, 57, of Lake Alfred, had passengers at the time of the accident. No injures were reported.
The crash is under investigation, but FHP said charges were unlikely. Krueger was not in a crosswalk, and the bus had the right-of-way, the highway patrol said.
Walt Disney Resort President Meg Crofton issued a brief statement on the accident.
We offer our deepest condolences to the guests' family and loved ones. We are doing all we can for them during this difficult time.
On April 1, a Disney bus hit and killed a 9-year-old St. Petersburg boy, Chase Brubaker, as he rode his bicycle with a friend at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort campground.
The FHP report blamed the accident on the fact that the tires on the boy's bicycle had little or no air in them.
