The Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari has said that American CIA and Pakistani ISI created the Taliban together.

"I think it is a part of your past and our past, and the ISI and the CIA created it together," Zardari told the American news channel NBC on May 7, 2009 in an interview.
This message confirms the successful cooperation between the intelligence services of U.S. and Pakistani governments in relation to fraudulent practices.
In the interview, Zardari has accused the United States also that the military regime of Pervez Musharraf have supported, that the side of the Taliban was.
However, Zardari said that he does not believe that U.S. and Pakistani militaries and intelligence services remain sympathetic to the Tall Iban.
