Derfner: ‘Why I got fired by Jerusalem Post’

The US-born radical Zionist Jew journalist and blogger, Larry Derfner 60, was fired by Israeli daily the Jerusalem Post late last month for posting an ‘anti-Semite’ statement on his blog, ‘Israel Reconsidered’. His crime was that he spoke the truth; ‘Palestinian terror is result of Israeli occupation’.

Derfner’s statement was no different than what Israel’s defense minister Ehud Barak had told Gideon Levy, a reporter with daily Ha’aretz, in 2000 when Barak was prime minister of the Zionist entity. Barak said: “If I was Palestinian, I would have joined a terrorist organization“.

History tells us that all colonial powers have called their victims who dared to resist the foreign occupation – terrorists.

Like UN human rights special envoy Dr. Richard Falk, who was forced to remove a Cartoon, showing Israel being behind NATO’s invasion of Libya, from his blog – Larry Derfner, too, has removed the original post from his blog. Both Larry and Falk have apologized for speaking the truth.

Here are some excerpts from Larry’s controversial article he posted on August 26, 2011.

“I think a lot of people who realize that the occupation is wrong also realize that Palestinians have the right to resist it – to use violence against Israelis, even to kill Israelis, especially when Israel is showing zero willingness to end the occupation, which has been the case since the Netanyahu government took (among other times in the past)“.

Larry still denies the fact that Palestinians took arms after decades of non-violent protests and negotiations. They’re not waging armed resistance to kill Israeli Jews but to counter Israel’s state terrorism which has killed 100 Palestinians for every Israeli Jew killed by Palestinian freedom-fighters. Furthermore, there is no civilian among the Israeli Jews over 18 year age. They’re all ‘combatants (Army reserves)’.

Zionist regime and its ‘boot-lickers’ in the West are known for shouting on top of their voices: “Israel has the right to defend itself“. However, they refuse to give the same right to the elected government of Hamas in Gaza – and call it a ‘terrorist’ organization.

The western hypocrites never felt ashamed to honor former Israeli prime ministers Menachem Begin and Yitzhak Shamir, leaders of Irgun and Lehi – two Jewish militant groups declared as ‘terrorists’ by the British mandate authority in Palestine.
