According to Israeli media hitman, Jeffrey Goldberg (Bloomberg, June 18), Gen. Martin Dempsey, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, shot-down John Kerry, US Secretary of State on Wednesday for advocating an American airstrike on Syrian airfields, especially the ones which Syrian army used to launch the so-called “chemical weapons” (sarin) attack the western-funded rebels.
Gen. Dempsey told Kerry and other Zionist warmongers in the White House “Situation Room” that the US airforce could not simply drop a few bombs, or fire a few missiles at targets inside Syria. To be safe, the US would have to neutralize Syria’s integrated (Russian-made) air defense system, an operation that would require 700 or more sorties. He also emphasized that currently, the US forces are not in the position to open a new front in the Middle East while it’s soldiers are exhausted (from Afghanistan and Iraqi occupation), and the Pentagon is hit with budget cuts. Dempsey said that the demand by the State Department for precipitous military action in a murky civil war wasn’t welcome.
Gen. Dempsey is aware of the fact that Obama’s National Security advisers (John Kerry, Susan Rice, John Brennan, Samantha Power, and others) are all pro-Israel radical Zionists and more hawkish than Barack Obama.
Dempsey’s refusal to get aboard Israeli wagon and open new military front against Iran via Syria – is a bad news for the Jewish bully in the Middle East that keeps making noises about attacking Syria, Lebanon and Iran – if the US fails to do that on bully’s behalf. Last year, Gen. Dempsey while talking with news reporters in London – warned the western nations over enforcing a ‘no-fly-zone’ along Turkish-Syrian border. He said: “Syria is not Libya“.
On the other hand, the Zionist regime never liked Gen. Dempsy. Israeli Mossad tried to assassinate Dempsy in Afghanistan last year.
American Jewish writer, Stephen Lendman, claims that the western-funded rebels used the chemical weapons killing more than 100 Syrian civilians. He says the rebels received training and chemical weapons from either the US or Israel.
Heather Conley, director of European program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), an Israeli advocacy group, summed-up White House National Security team, saying: “I don’t see a dramatic shift in President’s position (regarding Iran and Syria) with these players. He has always liked a diversity of viewpoints, and he will spend his time listening to that debate. The positions have changed, but the people are the same, so the (pro-Israel policy) dynamic is the same“.
