Martin Dempsey, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, shot-down John Kerry, US Secretary of State on Wednesday for advocating an American airstrike on Syrian airfields, especially the ones which Syrian army used to launch the so-called “chemical weapons” (sarin) attack the western-funded rebels.
Gen. Dempsey told Kerry and other Zionist warmongers in the White House “Situation Room” that the US airforce could not simply drop a few bombs, or fire a few missiles at targets inside Syria. To be safe, the US would have to neutralize Syria’s integrated (Russian-made) air defense system, an operation that would require 700 or more sorties. He also emphasized that currently, the US forces are not in the position to open a new front in the Middle East while it’s soldiers are exhausted (from Afghanistan and Iraqi occupation), and the Pentagon is hit with budget cuts. Dempsey said that the demand by the State Department for precipitous military action in a murky civil war wasn’t welcome.
