On May 17, 2011 – The US-based InterAmerican Security Watch published Hasbara writer Benjain Weinthal’s Red Alert: “Iranians paid cash to build mid-range missile launch pads on Paraguana Peninsula; Iranian engineers visited site in Feb.”.

Reza Kahlili of FoxNews copied the above news item under sensational heading “Iran is building a secret missile installation in Venezuela“.

“Based on sources inside Iran, reports indicate that the Revolutionary Guards have established many entities and facilities in Venezuela as front companies involved in covert operations, such as exploration of uranium. Venezuela is said to have significant reserves, something that Iran is desperately in need of for the continuation of their nuclear bomb project,” wrote Reza.

Oliver Pickup copied the news item in the Mail online under more scary title: “Is this a second missile crisis? Iran to build mid-range rocket bases in Venezuela“. However, to make the news more attractive to the Israel-Firsters. Oliver wrote that not only Israel will take these bases as threat to its security (may be the idiot believe that Venezuela is in the Middle East and not far-away in South America) – but “it will remind the West of the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis when the Soviet Union teamed up with the South American country (Cuba) against America”.

Since taking office in 2005, the Iranian President has expanded Iran’s cooperation with many Latin American states, including Venezuela, Bolivia and Cuba.

But the strong and rapidly growing ties between Iran and Venezuela have raised eyebrows in the US and its western allies since Tehran and Caracas have forged an alliance against the imperialist and colonialist powers and are striving hard to reinvigorate their relations with the other independent countries which pursue a line of policy independent from the US.

Now, doesn’t that make another reason for Americans to die for Israel in Iran!
