The countries listed included Denmark, Germany, Finland, Sweden, Norway, UK, France, Netherlands and Italy. According to French sources, approximately 2,000 Jews have left France each year during the last decade.
A report published in March 2009 by daily Yediot Ahronot, claimed that more Jewish Israeli citizens were leaving the country than the Jews immigrating to Israel. It predicted that 14,400 Jews would be entering Israel while 20,000 Jews would be saying good-by to Israel. According to latest official estimates, over one million Israeli Jewish citizens work and live outside Israel.
