One doesn’t need a PhD in finance to figure out who is sucking blood out of the American taxpayers. One just has to look at the latest report published by the US-based credit rating agency, Standard and Poor’s. The agency which had down-graded the US to A-minus a month ago – has raised Israel’s credit rating to A-plus.
“The rating action reflects our view of Israel’s improved economic policy flexibility as a result of strong growth and careful macroeconomic management,” S&P said in a statement.
However, in January 2011, when Rep. Ron Paul suggested that USAID to Israel ($6-$14 billion per year) be cut down along with USAID to Egypt ($1.3 billion per year) and USAID to Pakistan ($30 billion during last 30 years) – AIPAC leashed its dogs on him. According to some conservative figures, USAID to Israel has passed $3 trillion mark.
Interestingly, the rating increase has put more pressure on the already damaged government of Benji Netanyahu. It has provoked anti-regime demonstrators, who see it as a proof of deliberate, debilitating economic and social inequalities across all sectors of Israel’s population.
According to latest OECD report, the Zionist entity has the second highest poverty rate among the OECD countries. One in every four residents in Israel lives below the poverty line, more than twice the average of Western countries (the average poverty rate in developed countries is 11.1%). The major victims being Israeli children; 36.3% of Israeli children live in poverty (850,300 children).
How the colonial wars by the Zioncon warmongers in Afghanistan, Iraq, Sudan and Libya has cost to American public – can be judged by a recent special report issued by the US Census Bureau.
According to the report – 46.2 million Americans are now living in poverty. The number of those living in poverty in America has grown by 2.6 million in just the last 12 months. Back in the year 2000, 11.3% of all Americans were living in poverty. Today, 15.1% of all Americans are living in poverty. The last time the poverty level was this high was back in 1993.
The United States has a child poverty rate that is more than twice as high as many European nations. Currently, one out of every five children in the US is living in poverty.
While the unemployment in the US is higher than Israel – US ambassador in Tel Aviv, Daniel Shapiro, told Jewish People Policy Institute (JPPI) recently: “
“In 2010 alone the U.S. imported $21 billion of Israeli goods and services; that’s 10 percent of Israel’s GDP. American companies and their representatives here directly employ about 60,000 Israelis; that’s fully 2 percent of Israel’s entire workforce. This figure does not include the many thousands more that are supported by American companies here as subcontractors or in downstream businesses”.
No wonder, Israel’s current account balance is 29th in the world; the US comes in at 196th.
