:coffee: Most do not realize the full history of the bible - those that gave their life so that everyone could read the Bible.

it was punishable by death at one time to own a Bible - a order given by the Catholic church- and most often those accused of this offense were burned at the stake.

the bloody history of the Catholic church, caused a split to occur, and the first person to translate the bible into English was Tynsdale. He was accused by the church of this offense and although he died before the Catholic church was able to carry out the sentence it (the church) actually dug up his bones and burned them posthumously

the Bible at one time had the Book of Enoch in it and included the Apocryphal books


although this video is older - there is some interesting historical points made.
