Peres: ‘We should talk to Hamas’

Israeli president Shimon Peres dropped a bombshell on December 30, 2012 by telling a group of country’s ambassadors at his presidential palace that Netanyahu government should strive for resuming peace talks with Mahmoud Abbas without demanding PA to recognize Israel as a Jewish state.

On Monday, speaking to a group of Christian leaders, Peres made an antisemitic statement by calling upon the Zionist regime to negotiate with Islamic resistance Hamas provided Hamas meet certain conditions.

“People ask, why not talk with Hamas? there is nothing wrong, if you get a reply. We are willing to talk to Hamas but they’re not,” claimed Peres.

However, Peres put his Zionist cards on table by saying that Israel will be willing to talk to Hamas if the later stop terrorism (military resistance), recognize the illegal Jewish occupation of Palestine and the acceptance of previous agreements signed between the Zionist regime and Palestinian Authority under chairman Yasser Arafat.

“These are not the conditions set by us but by the international community,” added Peres. The “international community” Peres was reffering was the US, UN, EU and Russia – but he ignored the fact that Israel itself has rejected over 70 UN resolutions passed against it.

In 2009, South African Zionist Jewish judge, Richard Goldstone, in his UN report had blasted Israel’s 23-day attack on Gaza. In return the Zionist regime called Goldstone anti-Israel and a self-hating Jew.

On December 5, 2012, American Jewish professor Richard Falk, the United Nations Special Rapporteur on Human Rights for the Palestinian Territories angered the Zionist regime by calling upon it to abide by and fully implement the cease fire agreement that was brokered by US-Egypt to end the recent 8-day Israeli airstrikes on Gaza Strip.
